This issue of ANN dedicates its scientific reflection to understanding the importance of the principles of the social economy by placing the person at the core, so that this can be a real possibility in the search for a society in which everyone can fit. It also contemplates the need to visualize the social welfare state as a democratic proposal for the redistribution of social resources within an alternative or complementary economic model to the capitalist system in force in the world.
