Abstract

The inclusion of environmental issues to the international agenda was accompanied by a vast number of studies and surveys that measure the sensitivity of people towards the environment. The Ecobarometer (EBA) is a survey that has been carried out in Andalucía for more than a decade and aims to analyze the state of public opinion regarding the dimensions of the so-called environmental concern. Consequently, this paper pursues to link the progression of environmental awareness of the Andalusians, captured through the EBA with the electoral programs of the regional elections held on March 25, 2012 in the region of Andalucia.
