Guidelines

The submitted manuscripts must be unpublished, original, and free of plagiarism. The author must submit an affidavit of authorship, originality, and unpublished work stating that the manuscript is their own work and has not been previously published. Proposed manuscripts that have previously been uploaded to the internet or any other medium are not considered unpublished and therefore cannot be published in this journal. While the manuscript is under evaluation, the author agrees not to submit it to other journals. All submissions must comply with the characteristics and format required according to their type:

  1. Research Results: Presents original results from completed or near-completed research projects that have not yet been published.
  2. Contributions Derived from Research: Rigorous and well-founded contributions derived from research that has already been published.
  3. Reflection Not Derived from Research: A rigorously grounded theoretical reflection based on contemporary debates and theoretical perspectives.
  4. State of the Art: Review, analysis, and systematization of research findings concerning a thematic field in the Social Sciences or Humanities.
  5. Book Reviews: Critical analyses of books addressing topics related to the Social Sciences and Humanities.

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's website in the submissions section. They must also be accompanied by the affidavit of authorship, originality, and unpublished work, declaring that the article has not been submitted for publication to any other journal or medium and that it is the author's own work.

Any manuscript that does not comply with the corresponding guidelines will be returned to the author so that they may correct or complete the aspects indicated. Once the editorial team has received the revised manuscript in compliance with the requirements, the article may be reviewed by the Editorial Board.

Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence

Revista Rupturas adheres to the Heredia Declaration, which proposes ethical guidelines and recommendations for the responsible integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into academic publishing. AI should be used solely as a support tool and must never replace human judgment, authorship, writing, or accountability. If AI was used in the preparation of the article, a section must be included before the references specifying: 1) the AI model used, its version, and the date of use; 2) how it was used; 3) which generated outputs were incorporated into the document; and 4) the model used must be cited and referenced.
