Introduction. Ibero-American university journals function as decisive platforms for consolidating administrative sciences in the region, yet they remain scarcely mapped through systematic bibliometric studies. Objective. To analyze the scientific output of the Revista Nacional de Administración (RNA) at the Universidad Estatal a Distancia of Costa Rica between 2010 and 2025, identifying its thematic structure, diachronic descriptor evolution and authorship patterns across fifteen years of uninterrupted publication. Method. A descriptive-relational bibliometric design was applied, complemented by a scoping review over 272 articles. Some 1,279 keyword instances were grouped through lexical co-occurrence into eight thematic clusters. Temporal trajectory was examined by absolute logarithmic values and a relative index with five-year baseline 2010-2015 = 100, alongside authorship, national affiliation and methodological typology. Results. Production unfolds across three uninterrupted quinquennia: 103 articles (2010-2015), 80 (2016-2020), 89 (2021-2025). Three clusters show positive net balance (human talent 118; innovation and AI 114; methodology-audit 105) against five contractions, with territorial development experiencing the steepest decline (40). Costa Rican exclusive authorship reaches 62.5 %, multinational co-authorship remains marginal (6.2 %), and the last quinquennium shows a clear turn toward mixed designs. Conclusion. RNA evidences a recomposition of its research agenda toward human-organizational and technological axes, retains the primacy of methodological-legal approaches as transversal scaffolding, and preserves geographical fragmentation that can be addressed through deliberate intraregional cooperation strategies.
