Resumen

El propósito de este estudio es comprender aspectos referentes al vínculo entre las características emprendedoras, capital humano, las redes y el entorno empresarial en el desempeño de las spin off académicas. Para este estudio, se realizó siete entrevistas en profundidad a miembros fundadores del equipo emprendedor de emprendimientos académicos universitarios, las cuales se procesaron y analizaron por medio del software NVIVO 12. Los resultados del estudio muestran que los productos que se generan a partir del emprendimiento surgen por la motivación de evidenciar el trabajo que se hace y esto tiene una relación directa con el desempeño. Asimismo, el equipo interdisciplinario aporta en el desarrollo de funciones específicas mejorando la eficiencia y por tanto también el desempeño. Las redes sociales del equipo emprendedor contribuyen en la evolución y oportunidades de mejorar el desempeño de las spin off y el entorno empresarial inmediato beneficia el desarrollo y desempeño de las spin off académicas.
